Spaghizza Sauce

Spaghizza Sauce

Ingredients

  • 28 oz can crushed tomatoes, low sodium
  • 2 tbsp. tomato paste, sugar-free
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil

Instructions

    Blend all ingredients until tomatoes are pureed.

    Bring mixture to a boil in medium sauce pan.

    Turn heat to low. Simmer for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Divide into 3 servings.

    Refrigerate left over sauce in sealed container.

Tips

The longer you simmer the sauce, the thicker it will get. Use as a sauce for pizza or with miracle noodles and ground beef for spaghetti. SSG notes (per serving) Veggies: 1 Daily Oil: 1/2
