Jicama Chili Cheese Fries

Ingredients

4 C or 1 lb jicama cut into long fry sticks
1 TBSP olive oil
1 ShiftSetGo Vegetable Chili Mix (with 3 oz water)
1 ShiftSetGo Cheese Soup/Dip Mix
Sea salt & pepper, to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven or air fryer to 400 degrees.
  2. Fill a small saucepan with water and bring to a boil.
  3. Boil jicama fries for 15 minutes and drain.
  4. Lay fries on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.
  5. Toss jicama fries in olive oil with any desired seasonings.
  6. Cook in air fryer for 15 minutes until crispy. If using oven, bake for 30 minutes and then broil on low for an additional 5-6 minutes until crispy.
  7. Prepare ShiftSetGo Chili and Cheese Sauce according to the water listed under “What You Need” recipe section.
  8. Divide Jicama fries into 2 bowls and top with chili and cheese sauce.

Tip

Top with jalapenos and raw red onion. Add lean ground beef or pork to get your daily protein in.
